Meet the Staff

Dr. Mike Murphy

Dr. Mike Murphy has been in Chiropractic practice for 38 years. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport , Iowa as a 4th generation Chiropractor. After two years in the army, Dr. Murphy started his first Chiropractic practice in Louisiana, Missouri and in 1982 he moved his practice to Hannibal. Dr. Murphy has a passion for helping people get back to better health. He is board certified in Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Auriculotherapy. He is a member of  the Missouri State Chiropractors Assosiation, and a Fellow in the Acupuncture Society of America. Dr. Murphy and his wife Wendy have eight adult children and ten grandchildren that they enjoy spending time with. He enjoys playing his clarinet in the Holy Family church choir and stock market trading.

 

 

 

Dr. Matthew Sorell

Dr. Matthew SorellDr. Matthew Sorell is a second generation Chiropractor. He is one of three Chiropractors in his family. After finishing his undergraduate work at Kansas State University, he spent time studying overseas in Costa Rica. Dr. Sorell graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2005. His intership  in Nebraska focused on structural rehabilitation care of the spine.  Dr Sorell has finished post graduate studies in Chiropractic Neurology and Functional Nutrition.  He is now one of three Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist in Missouri.  His strong back ground in functional neurology and nutrition helps Dr Sorell diagnosis where the problem is so a specific treatment may be applied to correct it.  He looks at the whole picture to understand what is going on and where normal physiology has become abnormal.  Dr. Sorell and his wife Fiord have four children. 

Millie True

Millie True has worked at the Murphy Chiropractic Center for 23 years. She takes care of scheduling appointments and makes sure the office runs smoothly. Millie will answer your questions about our Chiropractic services and help you feel comfortable at our office. Millie works on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mormings. She enjoys decorating, cooking and gardening. One of her hobbies is keeping the office looking great with plants and decorations to fit the season.

 

 

Pat Smith

Pat Smith has worked for Murphy chiropractic Center for 9 years.  She is in charge of our insurance department and can also fill in if another staff member is off work.  Pat loves animals and works with several rescue groups to find homes for abandoned pets.

 

Tina Parsons

Tina is from the Hannibal area, but has lived the past 4 years in Florida and worked in a Chiropractic office there. She  works on Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday, Friday,and Saturday morning.  Tina works at front desk to make appointments and take patients back to see their doctor.  Tina and her husband Steve have two grown children and four grandchildren. She enjoys reading and visiting her grandchildren. Tina has been working three years  as an assistant at our office.
