March Newsletter
March is the month where we change the clocks. Daylight saving time starts on the second Sunday in March each year, under current law. "Spring forward" is set for Sunday, March 8, 2026. Clocks will shift from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. Winter will end at 9:46 a.m. CT Friday, March 20 with the spring equinox.
After winter, many people notice their bodies feel stiffer, weaker, and more injury-prone. Shorter days, colder temperatures, and reduced activity levels all contribute to deconditioning. When spring arrives and activity suddenly increases-yard work, running, sports, home projects-the body often isn’t prepared. Common Post-Winter Injuries
How Chiropractic Care Helps 1. Restoring Joint Mobility--Chiropractic adjustments improve spinal and joint motion, reducing stiffness and helping the body move more efficiently. 2. Improving Bio-mechanics--When joints move properly, muscles don’t have to compensate as much. This lowers strain and injury risk. 3. Supporting Soft Tissue Recovery--Chiropractors often use soft tissue therapy, stretching, and rehabilitation exercises to restore muscle balance. 4. Injury Prevention--A pre-season assessment can identify weak links-limited hip mobility, poor core stability, or spinal restrictions-before they lead to injury. If you are experiencing any of these or someone you know is; make your appointment now.
DR BUCHER'S BILLBOARD
Chiropractic care focuses on restoring proper motion, supporting the nervous system, and helping your body function at its best — not just when you’re hurting, but proactively. Small daily actions make a big difference: move often, strengthen your core, and prioritize quality sleep. When we combine smart habits with proper alignment, the body responds the way it was designed to. Stay active, stay aligned. Dr. Michael Bucher
Dr Murphy's says: “I have had trouble with my shoulder since my fall. Doing some physical therapy, and trying a magnesium cream that didn’t seem to be helping, I then decided to try a mixture of Deep Blue, Copaiba, and Turmeric with some fractionated coconut oil. After a few days of using this mixture the pain in my shoulder is nearly gone, the joint is feeling much better. How this works, is the oils soak into the skin, and get into the tissues and the joints, decreasing the inflammation and helping with the healing.” Use 10 drops of each in a 15ml bottle, and then top it off with coconut oil. Try this if you have pain and nothing seems to help. You could purchase each of these oils to make your own, or ask for one to be made for you. We have a variety of oils for sale in the office, and if there is something we don’t have on hand we can order it for you.
Juice Plus is a great way to bridge the gap to increase the amount of fruits and vegetables and berries you eat every day. Some of you are probably not eating many fruits, vegetable and berries every day. And some of you aren't eating any of these food groups. This is good way to improve your overall health and improve your immune system.
