Meet the Staff

Dr. Mike Murphy
  
 
 Dr. Mike Murphy has been in Chiropractic practice for 51 years. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa as a 4th generation Chiropractor. After two years in the army, Dr. Murphy started his first Chiropractic practice in Louisiana, Missouri and in 1982 he moved his practice to Hannibal. Dr. Murphy has a passion for helping people get back to better health. He is board-certified in Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Auriculotherapy. He is a member of the Missouri State Chiropractors Association, and a Fellow in the Acupuncture Society of America. Dr. Murphy and his wife Wendy have seven adult children and fourteen grandchildren that they enjoy spending time with. He enjoys playing his clarinet and conga drums in the Holy Family church choir.
 
Abbie Moore
Abigail Moore along with her husband Nathan and 4 kids live in the Hannibal/New London area. They have been in this area since attending HLG in the mid 90s where Abbie received her RN nursing degree. They enjoy a small farm and homeschooling and are active members of Antioch Baptist Church.  Abbie also enjoys gardening and reading. She has worked for Murphy Chiropractic for 1 year.
 
Tina Hardy
  
Tina grew up in Frankford and is married to Mike Hardy. They currently live in  New London.   She helps Dr. Murphy with therapy and works at front desk. Tina has two grown children and seven grandchildren. She enjoys reading and visiting her grandchildren. Tina has been working 14  years as an assistant at our office.
 
Cherie Knutelski 
Cherie joined the staff in June 2014.  She has multiple duties at the office. Cherie is in charge of processing Medicare insurance claims, and of some days helps out at the front desk or helps Dr. Mike with therapy on patients. She enjoys golfing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Cherie has worked for Murphy Chiropractic for 9 years.
Jennifer VanHoose
  
Jennifer started working at the office in September 2018. She works in the front office, helps Dr. Murphy with patients and also works with insurance.
 
Nancy Hallgren
Nancy grew up about 30 miles west of Chicago, in Bartlett, IL. She moved to this area 6 years ago. Nancy works part-time at the front desk greeting patients and scheduling appointments.  She also enjoys working with doTerra Essential oils. She has 2 grown children and two grandchildren which she visits as often as she can.  Nancy also enjoys her pets and the wildlife around her home in Palmyra.
